The First Gate and Academy students attend together.

Creating a unique environment of both new learning and deeper embodied experience.

For The First Gate students

Students who have been walking the pathway for many years bring a depth of practice, sensitivity, and understanding that naturally supports the learning environment for newer students.

Their systems carry what years of genuine engagement with the work produces. Being in a room with people who have already walked further changes what becomes possible for those newer to the path.

For Academy students

Each immersion is shaped by the unique mix of people present, creating new learning, observations, applications, and opportunities for deepening within the work itself.

New work can arrive at every immersion — techniques and understanding that emerge through direct contact with the group ready to receive what comes through. Those present receive something that arrives live in the room.

Precision & Application
Techniques learned online are refined through direct guidance, partner work, observation, touch, energetic engagement, and real-time application throughout the immersion.

Embodiment & Integration
The concentrated environment allows students to deepen their understanding of the work through sustained practice, nervous system awareness, energetic sensitivity, and ongoing integration across the five days.

Learning Within Community
Working closely with other students creates opportunities for greater observation, feedback, discernment, confidence, and practical understanding that cannot be developed through solo practice alone.

Progressive Deepening
The immersion is designed to deepen the work progressively and safely over time. Nothing is forced. Students are supported to work within the readiness and capacity of their own system.

Continuing Development
Many students report that the immersion strengthens both their personal transformation and their ability to apply the work with others long after the immersion concludes.

The field continues to operate through the evenings, through sleep, through the ordinary hours between days. Something that moves into the structure of how students meet life — rather than visiting and receding.

What this requires

The ground needs to be prepared first.

The online pathway establishes the foundational understanding, practical experience, and shared language required for immersion work.

Immersions are open to students who have completed a minimum of five months of foundational training within the The First Gate.

For many students, the immersion becomes a significant point of deepening within both their personal journey and practitioner development.

Flights and accommodation are arranged independently. Accommodation options are available nearby.
