Over the years, students have shared their experiences of walking this pathway. Moments of softening, of stillness beginning to stay, of something underneath finally shifting. Here are some of their words, offered with gratitude.
Every day I feel how the techniques gently open my system more and more. How I have never before experienced my structure of holding, and the softening and opening, in this way.
I have always felt the struggle and confusion of, on the one hand, realisation, clarity, and moments of stillness, and at the same time, the ever-present contraction in the system that remained unchanged.
Although I was aware of an inner stillness that was always there, it was not a stillness in which my system could rest. There was no meeting of life from an open system, resting and carried in stillness, but rather an inner stillness held within a holding system.
Because of this, meeting life was often experienced as disturbing, as an interruption of being able to remain in stillness.
Now I see that the capacity to meet life did not actually change before. That no lasting opening and softening took place at the deeper layers, and that the stillness that was experienced was limited.
I experience how important it is to do the work daily, to enter the layers when the moments arise, and to remain in the centre of the circle.
Not to replace life or withdraw from it, but to gradually build the capacity to meet life as it is.
This work has changed how I meet life. I am grateful that I can do the work and walk this pathway.
What you teach and what this pathway supports is unlike anything I had previously encountered through philosophy, traditional practices, or accumulated knowledge. The gradual and gentle reorganisation that unfolds through this work has changed how I meet everyday life in a very real and grounded way. It required enormous humility to let go of what I thought I knew, but doing so has completely changed the direction of my life.
