Governing All Courses, Programs, Trainings, Retreats, Workshops, Events, Online Offerings & Practitioner Pathways
Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully.
By registering for, accessing, attending, or participating in any program, course, workshop, retreat, immersion, online offering, practitioner pathway, event, membership, or training conducted by Sano Academy, Peiec International, or Anandi Sano, you agree to be bound by the Terms and Conditions outlined below.
If you do not agree to these Terms and Conditions, please do not register for or participate in any offering.
1. Definitions
For the purposes of these Terms and Conditions:
“Sano Academy”, “Peiec International”, “we”, “us”, and “our” refer to Peiec International, Sano Academy, Anandi Sano, affiliated facilitators, contractors, staff, representatives, and approved teaching assistants.
“Participant”, “student”, “you”, and “your” refer to any individual registering for, accessing, attending, or participating in any offering.
“Materials” refers to all teachings, techniques, methodologies, energetic processes, demonstrations, frameworks, concepts, written materials, videos, audios, downloads, diagrams, manuals, presentations, recordings, online content, coursework, community content, and proprietary systems associated with peiec®.
“Programs” refers to all trainings, online pathways, immersions, retreats, memberships, practitioner development pathways, seminars, workshops, courses, live calls, and events.
2. Intellectual Property & Copyright
2.1 Ownership
All Materials presented within Sano Academy and the peiec® methodology remain the exclusive intellectual property of Peiec International.
This includes, but is not limited to:
teachings
techniques
demonstrations
methodologies
energetic processes
frameworks
terminology
written materials
video and audio content
diagrams
structures
training systems
course delivery methods
community materials
practitioner processes
Participation in any Program does not transfer ownership or licensing rights to any participant.
2.2 Personal Learning Use Only
Materials are provided solely for personal learning, participation, and authorised progression within the peiec® pathway.
Participants may practise techniques within the scope and level authorised by their training progression.
Participants may not:
teach or train others in peiec®
reproduce or redistribute Materials
incorporate peiec® teachings into their own trainings or certifications
adapt, modify, reinterpret, or repackage the methodology
create derivative works based on peiec®
represent peiec® teachings as their own
share proprietary Materials publicly or privately
use Materials for commercial teaching purposes without written permission
Any unauthorised use of Materials may result in removal from Programs and further action where necessary.
2.3 Recording & Reproduction
Unless explicitly authorised in writing:
no audio recording
no video recording
no photography
no screenshots
no duplication
no distribution
no uploading or sharing of Materials
is permitted during any Program, training, immersion, retreat, workshop, or online offering.
3. Participant Conduct
3.1 Behavioural Expectations
Participants agree to conduct themselves respectfully and professionally toward:
facilitators
staff
contractors
venue hosts
other students
community members
guests
Sano Academy is committed to maintaining a respectful, grounded, and supportive learning environment.
3.2 Unacceptable Conduct
The following behaviours may result in suspension or removal from Programs:
disruptive or aggressive behaviour
bullying or harassment
dishonesty or deception
repeated boundary violations
sharing confidential information
misuse or misrepresentation of the methodology
unauthorised teaching or sharing of Materials
intoxication or use of illegal substances during in-person events
behaviour negatively impacting the integrity or safety of the learning environment
Removal from a Program does not entitle a participant to a refund.
3.3 Right to Refuse or Terminate Participation
Sano Academy and Peiec International reserve the right to refuse, suspend, or terminate participation at any stage where:
false or misleading information has been provided
a participant is deemed unsuitable for the Program
behaviour negatively impacts the learning environment
confidentiality or intellectual property protections are breached
participation is considered unsafe or inappropriate
Decisions regarding participation remain at the sole discretion of Sano Academy.
4. Suitability for Participation
Participants acknowledge that peiec® is an immersive transformational and practitioner development methodology involving emotional, physical, energetic, and cognitive processes.
By participating, you confirm that:
you are psychologically and physically capable of engaging responsibly in the Program
you accept responsibility for your own wellbeing during participation
you will seek appropriate professional support where required
you understand the Programs are not a replacement for medical, psychiatric, psychological, or therapeutic care
Sano Academy reserves the right to refuse or discontinue participation where it is believed a Program may not be suitable for an individual at that time.
5. Disclaimer & No Professional Advice
The teachings, Materials, demonstrations, discussions, and content presented through Sano Academy and peiec® are educational and transformational in nature.
They are not intended as:
medical advice
psychological advice
psychiatric advice
legal advice
financial advice
therapeutic treatment
diagnosis or cure for disease
Participants should always seek appropriate qualified professional advice regarding any medical, psychological, legal, or financial concerns.
6. No Guarantee of Outcomes
Individual experiences within peiec® vary significantly.
While participants may report a wide range of personal, emotional, energetic, relational, professional, or physical changes, Sano Academy and Peiec International do not guarantee:
specific outcomes
healing outcomes
emotional outcomes
practitioner success
financial outcomes
certification outcomes
business outcomes
personal transformation outcomes
Testimonials and shared experiences are individual accounts only and should not be interpreted as promises or guarantees.
7. Liability Waiver
7.1 Assumption of Responsibility
Participation in Programs is voluntary.
Participants acknowledge that involvement in transformational, body-based, energetic, and practitioner development work may involve emotional, physical, energetic, or cognitive responses.
You participate entirely at your own risk and responsibility.
7.2 Release of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, participants release and hold harmless:

Anandi Sano
facilitators
assistants
contractors
staff
venue hosts
representatives
from any claims, liabilities, losses, damages, injuries, or expenses arising directly or indirectly from participation in any Program.
This includes, but is not limited to:
personal injury
illness
emotional distress
psychological distress
property damage
financial loss
business loss
travel-related disruptions
participant interactions
8. Confidentiality
Participants agree to respect the confidentiality and privacy of:
fellow students
shared personal experiences
community discussions
Program content
private teaching spaces
Confidential information shared within Programs must not be disclosed publicly without permission.
9. Media & Recording Release
Programs, events, retreats, workshops, live calls, and immersions may be photographed or recorded by Sano Academy.
By participating, you consent to the possible use of:
photographs
audio recordings
video recordings
screenshots
testimonials
for educational, promotional, marketing, or archival purposes.
If you do not wish to appear in media content, you must notify us in writing prior to participation.
10. Program Access & Online Content
Access to online materials is granted only to the registered participant.
Participants may not:
share login details
distribute Program content
allow unauthorised access to coursework
copy or reproduce online materials
Access periods vary by Program and are outlined at the time of enrolment.
Sano Academy reserves the right to modify, update, reorganise, or remove online content at any time.
11. Payment Terms
11.1 Payment Obligations
All Program fees must be paid in accordance with the selected payment arrangement.
Failure to maintain payment obligations may result in:
suspension of access
cancellation of participation
withholding of certificates or progression
Outstanding balances remain payable regardless of participation level.
11.2 Instalment Plans
Where instalment plans are offered:
payments must be made on time
failed payments must be rectified promptly
repeated failed payments may result in suspension of access
Participants remain responsible for the full agreed Program fee.
12. Refund Policy
12.1 Online Programs & Digital Offerings
Due to immediate access to intellectual property, digital materials, limited enrolment capacities, preparation, and the progressive structure of the pathway, all online purchases and enrolments are considered final.
Refunds are not provided for:
change of mind
change of circumstances
lack of participation
withdrawal from the Program
inability to complete the Program
scheduling conflicts
personal preference
Refunds are only provided where required under Australian Consumer Law.
12.2 In-Person Trainings, Workshops & Immersions
Unless otherwise specified in writing:
deposits are non-refundable
cancellations within 8 weeks of commencement are non-refundable
failure to attend does not entitle participants to refunds or credits
In exceptional circumstances, transfer to another intake may be considered at the sole discretion of Sano Academy.
12.3 Retreats
Specific retreat cancellation terms provided at the time of booking form part of these Terms and Conditions.
Participants are responsible for all personal travel arrangements and associated costs.
Comprehensive travel insurance is strongly recommended.
13. Practitioner Progression & Certification
Completion of a Program or Level does not automatically guarantee:
certification
practitioner approval
advancement into higher levels
permission to teach peiec®
listing within any practitioner directory
Progression is determined by:
readiness
participation
competency
integrity
professional conduct
alignment with the standards and values of the methodology
Sano Academy reserves the right to withhold progression or certification where appropriate.
14. Teaching Restrictions
Completion of any peiec® Program does not authorise participants to:
teach peiec® publicly or privately
certify others
create trainings based on peiec®
facilitate workshops using peiec® Materials
represent themselves as official teachers of the methodology
Any future teaching permissions, practitioner approvals, or advanced authorisations remain entirely at the discretion of Sano Academy.
15. Non-Disparagement
Participants agree not to make knowingly false, malicious, defamatory, or misleading public statements regarding:

Peiec International
Anandi Sano
staff
facilitators
students
the peiec® methodology
This clause does not prevent lawful and honest reviews or legally protected communications.
16. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Western Australia and the Commonwealth of Australia.
Any disputes arising in relation to participation shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Western Australia.
17. Acceptance of Terms
By registering for, accessing, or participating in any Program offered through Sano Academy, Peiec International, or Anandi Sano, you acknowledge that:
you have read and understood these Terms and Conditions
you voluntarily agree to be bound by them
you accept responsibility for your participation
you understand that participation may involve emotional, physical, energetic, and transformational processes

IMMERSION CANCELLATION, REFUND & LIABILITY POLICY
Cancellation Policy
We understand that unexpected circumstances may arise. However, due to the extensive preparation, venue commitments, staffing, and logistical arrangements involved in hosting immersive in-person experiences, the following cancellation terms apply to all bookings.
Up to 5 Months Prior to Commencement
Participants may cancel their booking and receive a refund minus a $299 administrative fee.
Refunds will be processed within 30 business days to the original payment method.
Please note:
Sano Academy and Peiec International are not responsible for payments made to third-party providers, including airlines, hotels, transportation providers, or travel services.
Between 4–5 Months Prior to Commencement
Refunds minus the $299 administrative fee will only be provided if:
- the participant supplies a suitable replacement attendee approved by Sano Academy; or
- Sano Academy is able to fill the participant’s place from a waitlist or future applicant.
Within 3 Months of Commencement
Due to the substantial preparation and commitments associated with Immersions, cancellations made within 3 months of commencement are non-refundable.
What Your Immersion Fee Includes
Unless otherwise stated in writing, Immersion fees apply only to the official Immersion package and inclusions outlined at the time of booking.
Immersion fees do not include:
- flights
- visas
- travel insurance
- accommodation outside official dates
- transportation outside official dates
- meals outside official dates
- personal expenses
- tourist activities
- third-party bookings or services
Participants are responsible for organising these independently.
Travel Responsibility
While guidance regarding logistics may occasionally be provided, all travel arrangements remain the responsibility of the participant.
This includes, but is not limited to:
- flight delays or cancellations
- missed connections
- lost luggage
- visa or passport issues
- illness or injury during travel
- transport disruptions
- geopolitical or weather-related disruptions
No refunds or credits will be issued for missed Immersion time due to travel-related delays or disruptions.
Participants are strongly encouraged to obtain comprehensive travel insurance.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sano Academy, Peiec International, Anandi Sano, staff, contractors, and representatives are not liable for:
- travel-related expenses or disruptions
- personal injury or illness
- theft, loss, or property damage
- cancellations or changes outside our control
- missed travel or accommodation arrangements
- indirect or consequential losses arising from participation
Participants attend all Immersions voluntarily and at their own responsibility.
Travel Insurance
Comprehensive travel insurance is strongly recommended and should include cover for:
- medical emergencies
- cancellations
- travel interruption
- missed flights
- lost luggage
- personal liability
